Recycled NZ native timber charcuterie / end grain chopping boards.
These end grain boards are individually hand made & no two boards are the same pattern, coming in roughly 33x32cm +/-
There's Rimu, Matai, Kauri, Macrocarpa & Totara (plus whatever is in my workshop at the time, there's some walnut, mahogany etc).
These boards are end grain butcher block boards, & will show knife marks, so best to keep one side for chopping, the other for presenting.
*NB so IMPORTANT: Being recycled native timbers and glued boards they have micro cracks & holes so they CAN NOT be put in the sink or run under a tap. To clean just wipe down with a slightly damp cloth, they will last a very long time with care. Also strangely enough, they don't like being stored in direct sunlight all the time, like in your kitchen window that's in the full sun.
