Red Alge, Blue Lake St Bathans

Looking for detail in the surrounding environment is something I've been pushing myself hard on recently, so when up at St Bathans in June, with the lake a mess due to the high winds, I looked up, down & all around. Turns out the Red Algae at the bottom of the crystal clear creek that drains Blue Lake (into Dunstan Creek) is both mesmerising to look at & exudes warm luscious fabric like patterns. See, it does pay to look down sometimes.
