That Ruataniwha Island underwater surprise

While the rākau trees drew me away from Wairepo Arm on the 2nd morning I was in Te Manahuna Mackenzie country, after spending ages looking for a composition that everyone hadn't taken of the island, I found this partially submerged rock in the foreground! The rock, the island & the wee golden tree in the distance, I had my 3 elements for this image & am so happy with it. First print of this is going on my own wall.
